Rancor Battalion.

Have you had any past experiences of being a Commander if so what did you do?
I have a huge amount of experience. I have played many different game modes but especially starwarsrp for several years now so I have literally commanded every battalion but special operation units like Rancor have always interested me the most with the unique strategies and it challenges me which makes the game more fun. I am a very strict organization and rp styled person so I like to structure the organizations I lead in a very well managed way so I would make documents and plan out a squad, platoon, and company styled system with a specific number of officers and ncos assigned to specific units which I would employ again if I were to lead the Rancor Battalion. I also like to enforce professional and semi-strict behavior in my units but especially in Rancor due to the higher standards it has to be held to as an elite unit with high expectations.

Why do you want to become a Commander on this server and not any other?  (Minimum of 4 Sentences)
Even though this is a new and small server I think it has great potential. As a previous server owner who used to own a network of 4 servers with good activity, I can recognize when server owners are professional and have the ability to not just make a successful server but a good quality one. I especially see myself in Ryzer because I used to code all my servers and manage them as well. Seeing how the owners have such good potential makes me believe that the server has that same potential of becoming great and becoming a commander I can help create a serious rp environment with a good atmosphere for new players. I can create an elite unit that everyone can compete with and strive to be apart of furthering the rp experience and trying to further the experience of the server. I can also help in staff ways with management but I do not think I have proven myself enough to apply for that position so now I will work towards improving the server through in-game experiences. I also think you would want to know why I want this position and its of course simply entertainment but also because I want to help this community becoming larger and better.

How would you impact our community? (Minimum 3 Sentences)
I already elaborated on this in the previous questions but I can summarize what I stated before. As a commander, I can create an elite Rancor Battalion that is held to high standards with an amazing organizational structure, professional members, great leadership, and elite training to create top tier troopers. My recruitment process would also be very selective looking for the best and brightest but only on very rare occasions would I recruit to make the unit very selective and competitive to enter. By doing this it makes a better in-game experience for players by allowing troopers to have something to work towards achieving and a more serious rp for not only the members of Rancor but the people who would get to see my elite battalion in action. I also would like to impact the community in a non-rp management way but as I said before I want to gain some playtime and gain familiarity with other members before I try to join the staff team.

What is the most important role of a Commander?
The most important role of a Commander in my perspective is to lead by example. You can idealize the most amazing unit with all these high standards for its members but if you can not be held to those same standards that you enforce then the whole point is ruined in the first place. The only person that can enforce a strict system is someone who can follow and master that same system.

Plan out how you would host tryouts for being that commander positions. (Minimum 5 Sentences)
The first step is actually choosing the people to tryout. As Rancor being a more elite unit with higher standards the best way to choose the best and brightest is to have recruiters search them out. I would only accept NCOs+ unless there was an extremely talented individual. For the actual tryout I would run it in this way (just a note my tryouts would not cover extremely basic things because this is not a basic unit):

Maneuverability: I am not completely aware of the equipment that this server gives Rancor but on my servers, I would give them either grappling hooks or climb swep. For grappling hooks, I would place a flying platform that troopers would have to get on top of. For climb swep I would mark a line on the wall and see how high the trainee could go. What I am looking for is individuals who are experienced with the equipment or show the potential to easily learn. For this phase, I would also include breaching. I would see how well a participant can breach and clear a building quickly moving in and out of rooms eliminating hostiles.

Firing Test/Trigger Discipline: For this part of the tryout, I would be testing the participant's ability to fire a blaster and/or other equipment. I would set up a firing range usually using destructible items like balloons and asking troopers to fire at those targets with a limited amount of chances from a specific distance. I would also do the old reliable test of pacing in front of the individual and tell them to unload their clip without hitting me.

Simulation Trials: As it sounds I would put participants through a simulation actually see them in action first hand. First I would let them do a simulation alone and later a team. It is important to test their teamwork because as part of Rancor, teamwork is an essential skill to have to efficiently and properly execute missions with other troopers. It's good to be strong individuals but missions cannot be completed alone. I would be looking for participants to coordinate with one another and show some degree of leadership.

Interview: I would ask participants questions about why they want to join, what they would do in specific scenarios, etc. to simply gauge what type of mentality they hold and if that is what the battalion is needing.

For more specific things like EOD or technology, I would train them after the tryouts because I have my own standards and procedures that I do not expect to see without being given proper training. I also do not use a strike system because I think they are useless I would rather judge the person's character than give them three strikes. I would simply be looking for someone who acts professionally, shows the ability to learn, a good amount of leadership capability, and has a good degree of experience.

Any Extra Info we need to know about you?
Don't think so.

I saw you on today, and you seemed very relaxed and a chill player. But I haven't seen you enough much. I’ll change my vote when I see you more
